Following the Steps of the Gifted

    To specify, the Online International Film Festival “Alternative film territory” is an annual event that unites films about love in its many different forms, about interpersonal relations running through culture, public and private life of a person.

    To participate in the competition the students of specialized universities are accepted, as well as independent authors. Fiction, documentary, animation films and music videos up to 30 minutes are accepted to participate.

     This year, ecology and nature have been announced to be the main theme of the festival. Films united by the theme of the relations of man, animals and microorganisms with the environment were presented at the fest.

     Requests could be applied since August 2017, but the winners in different nominations were announced on 19th December.

     Not only organizers and participants were there that evening but connoisseurs of this art form came to the Moskva cinema as well.  Among special guests were Galina Bokashevskaya, a theatre and film actress, Honored Artist of Russia; Sergey Rost, an actor, film and theatre director. The event was headed by Аlexander Tyutryumov, an actor, producer of “ATK-Studio”, organizer of the festival and Anna Tyutryumova, a producer of “Ursus-Film”.

     Finally, the winners are:

Best Script – “Sybzyoup” (“I feel good”), directed by Nataliya Rudanovskaya

Best short Fiction – “Under Tree Crowns”, directed by Ignat Kachan

Best Cinematographer – “At the Edge of the World”, cinematography Anastasiya Osipova

Best short Documentary – “The Silence of White and Black”, directed by Maxim Miloserdov

Best animation – “The Legend of Mount Kolpaki”, directed by Vlada Palkina

     The prize for Best Director was awarded by Grachya Pogosyan. In his speech he thanked the organizers for the invitation to take part in such an unconventional but interesting and promising festival that can give a start for gifted persons from different parts of the country.

“The fact that we are giving awards not far from the Alexander Nevsky Lavra is rather telling. I hope that we all be blessed,” Grachya Pogosyan said to the participants. Then, he announced the winner. It was “The Last Leaf”, directed by a young Muscovite Ekaterina Uvarova. 

      “Following the Amur Tiger Trail”, directed by Olga Appolonova, received the Grand Prix of the festival. The special prize of the president of the festival Аlexander Tyutryumov was awarded to the film “On the Edge”, directed by Julia Bobkova, Olga Komarevtseva, Maxim Lukyanets, Kirill Myltsev, Julia Sergina.
