From children of the war with gratitude

For his assistance to manufacture anniversary medals dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the St. Petersburg Society of Children of the War, of Missing Parents, the president of the Charitable Foundation Grachya Pogosyan was awarded a Letter of Thanks and this very medal.
In January 2019, Grachya Pogosyan got a letter signed by the Head of the St. Petersburg Society of Children of the War, of Missing Parents Nikolay Krasikov. Nikolay Fedorovich asked in that letter to assist the society in manufacturing medals dedicated to the 10th anniversary of its foundation.
Then the two leaders met in person. During their meeting Nikolay Krasikov spoke about the work carried out by their public organization, the main purpose of which is to unite people with rich life experience providing them with the opportunity to preserve the memory of their parents and direct their efforts to moral, spiritual and patriotic education of the youth. In particular, social activists are addressing the issue of the official recognition of the status of persons of this category at the federal level and the provision of additional social support measures. While talking and discussing the issues, Nikolai Fedorovich asked for support in the manufacture of the anniversary medal of their organization.
Having known of the important work done by the social activists, Grachya Pogosyan supported and sponsored them, and 60 medals, that were awarded to the members of the society, had been made by the date of the anniversary. And one of those medals together with a certificate and a Letter of Thanks for his assistance was handed over to Grachya Pogosyan by the head of the Society of Children of the War.
